USES:
This peroxyester is used as an initiator for the
polymerization of
acrylics, SAN/ABS, ethylene, vinyl-acetate and
vinyl-chloride at
low temperature.
HAZARDOUS:
Organic peroxides may irritate eyes, skin and respiratory
passages.
They are sensitive to heat, combustible and promote
combustion.
If the ambient temperature increases, than the rate of
decomposition
increases too. Above the critical temperature (SADT),
spontaneous
decomposition may occur under conditions of restricted heat
transfer
(e.g. in the supply container). Contact with concentrated
acids and
alkalis, reducing agents or dirt, ash, rust and metal dust,
also may
cause spontaneous decomposition. Under confinement this is
an explosion
risk. In case of decomposition without flame formation the
vapor/air
mixture can explode.

The product is packed in polyethylene canisters with net
content
of 25 kg. and transported in special cooling-trucks.
